Blending artisan tradition with modern aesthetics, the bags celebrate local creative heritage, promote female empowerment and support sustainable development. The tote’s textiles were sourced in Burkina Faso from organic, 100% rain-fed cotton, and dyed using GOTS certified dyes. The “Faso Danfani” textiles were then hand-woven by female artisans in Burkina Faso. Finally, it was assembled at Artisan Fashion and embellished with intricate glass beadwork made by artisans Tujikuze’s network in Gilgil.
